You do not need to bring a print out of your ticket, or an e-ticket on your phone. Upon arrival at the theatre, we will ask for your name at the box office for check-in.

Accessibility

We have a ramp that we can deploy over the three steps leading from the front doors into the lobby. The theatre is accessible from there and we have several spots where we’re able to accommodate a wheelchair. Unfortunately, our washrooms are each down a set of two narrow steps so are inaccessible to wheelchairs.

Should you require the ramp for an upcoming screening, feel free to let us know by email (info@foxtheatre) or phone (416-691-7335)

Only select titles have the ability to be shown with our Dolby Accessibility Solution (DAS). This is based on the distributor’s availability but we are working to show as many films as we can with this option.

Please arrive early and speak to our staff, who will assist you.

You will be asked to fill out a form and provide a credit card or a piece of ID, which will be given back to you at the end of the film upon return of the device

Let our staff know which of the following options you would want, and they will set this up for you:

  • Audio Description: Gives an audio description of what’s happening on screen, excluding the dialogue.
  • Amplified Audio: Sound is amplified, and volume can be adjusted on the device
  • Audio Description: An audio description is given in one ear, while the dialogue is given in the other.
  • Amplified Audio and Audio Description: Amplified sound as well as subtitles
  • Closed Captions: Descriptive text and dialogue

A headset is provided, but feel free to bring in your own!
