Cheese-loving eccentric Wallace (Peter Sallis) and his cunning canine pal, Gromit are putting their ingenious inventions to work by starting a business ridding the town of garden pests. Using only humane methods that turn their home into a halfway house for evicted vermin, the pair stumble upon a mystery involving the alluring Lady Tottington (Helena Bonham Carter) and a voracious vegetarian creature that threatens to ruin the annual veggie-growing contest.
Nick Park’s delightful adventure for all-ages is a kooky combo of (kid-friendly) gothic horror tropes and silly spy romp, featuring “24-carrot” gold bullets, gonzo set pieces, and a lifesaving portion of Stinking Bishop cheese.
