Join us for one of the unsung heroes of the ’80s trash-terpieces, made even better by a themed pre-show performance from Boylesque TO!
Arriving six years after “Saturday Night Fever” wowed audiences with its tale of disco-dancing New Jersey stud Tony Manero (John Travolta), Sylvester Stallone stepped up to direct this sweaty sequel.
Disco is dead, so what’s a dance floor king to do? Head to Broadway, of course! Teaching dance classes by day and bartending by night, Tony just knows he’s destined for more. So when he manages to land a role in the most anticipated stage show of the season, he finds himself struggling to control his ego in both work AND love, juggling his background dancer girlfriend (Cynthia Rhodes) and the tempting advances the show’s star (Finola Hughes).
Can he make the right moves to stay alive? Who cares! Come for the Bee Gees, stay for the loincloth-clad final number featuring one of the most bonkers musicals ever committed to film!
